The program does not place an outsider at the edge of campus. It helps schools recruit qualified Veterans into roles that are useful every day and prepared when an emergency occurs.

Serve in a primary school role
Rangers may support transportation, facilities, operations, student services, or other district functions.
Strengthen preparedness
Alongside their primary duties, Rangers help reinforce practical safety awareness, coordination, and readiness.

Qualified for the school and the responsibility.
