this innovative initiative embeds trained, vetted veterans in dual roles across school districts—ensuring both operational efficiency and rapid, qualified safety response.
Purpose
To establish a shared culture of preparedness, leadership, and proven processes for active shooter and hostile event response.
Training Elements
- Integration of leadership and response strategies
- Implementation of common standards and training
- Communication and planning development
Prerequisites
- Completion of School Ranger Program
- School Marshal training or equivalent (e.g. TCOLE)
- First-aid and Stop the Bleed certification
- Continued professional development
